Nice work. You have a natural 'feel' for the poses.
I would love to do some more life drawing. Although I never really took to it when I was doing it. I always put myself under too much pressure to do myself and the model justice.
Seeing your work inspires me to give it another shot.
Chris
Hi Chris and thankyou very much, I must own up to not being brave enough to post the more freaky looking drawings though...
I'd love to see your life drawings, I'm sure it'd be a welcome relief to you not to have to make or even draw clothes for a while! :¬)
The 30 second poses really force you not to worry about the doing the model justice, just to get down on paper the basic gesture/shape of the pose etc, so I really recommend those,
Yes I'm beginning to think that I'm going to be making miniature clothes forever! ;¬( I've been leaving out food at night but so far I've had no help at all from the elves. :¬)

Where are those darn piskies when they're needed?!
You might get a hedgehog or two popping in to help though...
Hello Becky, I have just started blogging, and found yours, I really like your little felt creatues! Penny.
Hello Penny and thankyou, the little creatures are great fun to make!
I always find bodys hard to draw but you have really captured the movements here!
Thanks Sara, I think I was lucky in having some great lifedrawing tutors through the ol' training years.
Which reminds me, I must find out when these lifedrawing classes start up again after the summer break.
