An email from Discovery Class

I received this lovely email today.

----
Thank you very much for coming to visit our class. We liked your book about the rainbow frogs. It is in our special book corner so we can read it every day. Thank you very much for teaching us how to draw a really good frog and an alligator. Thank you for the pictures and the postcards. Maybe one day you can come and visit us again.

Love from Discovery class xxx

I'm glad you had a rewarding visit. I have gone into a school to take a class which was made up of a number of special needs children. It was a good experience but I haven't gone back yet although I have been asked.

BTW You're tagged. Please see my blog.

Thanks Penny, it was a lovely day, much less daunting then my first visit, the school had another visitor that day too, Nicholas Allan, who writes and illustrates his own books, including The Queen's Knickers and Where Willy Went, amongst lots of others. It was great to sit in on his presentation too and see how it's really done!

Hi Chris, working with a class of special needs kids sounds wonderful, if hard work. Are you planning to go back in soon? Seems you're very busy at the moment. Thanks for the tag, I've been tagged twice now for the same thing, I'll have to think of 12 weird things, uh oh, I'll have to ask my friends and fammily to help. I'm sure they'll have plenty of things to tell me, hm on sencond thoughts maybe I shouldn't...
